Art India creates, stages and teaches the arts of India in Europe. From a child's first kathak lesson in Brussels to a full production on a national stage.
Since 2015 our productions have been performed at Bozar and Wolubilis in Brussels and at the Gasteig in Munich. Our festivals fill the esplanade of the Atomium each autumn, are programmed into the City of Brussels' own cultural calendar, and have reached the esplanade of the European Parliament. Our conservatory teaches Indian classical music and dance in Brussels, year-round.
The Brussels Diwali Festival is the most visible of this work: the largest celebration of Diwali in Belgium, held every year since 2016 and now in its tenth edition. It is one of three strands, alongside a repertoire of original stage productions and the teaching that feeds them.
The tenth edition takes place on 24 and 25 October 2026 under the theme Culture United. For the first time, European embassies and cultural institutes are invited to celebrate Diwali alongside us — sharing their own traditions in return.

Brussels Yoga Fest

A day of practice in the heart of the city, in the park facing the Royal Palace. Open classes, teachers from Belgium and India, and an introduction to yoga as it is taught at its source.
