Ten years

Art India's first year was 2015. Ticket 2 Bollywood filled a Brussels venue and showed there was an audience well beyond the Indian community; Taj — the eternal love was performed at the Gasteig in Munich; and Mad About Madras was staged at Wolubilis in aid of the Chennai flood relief. The following year the company presented It Doesn't Hurt To Be Nice at Bozar and held the first Brussels Diwali celebration. Since 2017 the festival has taken place on the esplanade of the Atomium.

Alongside it, the work has grown outward: Rama at Wolubilis, Taj at Bozar and in Stuttgart, Bollywood programmed into the City of Brussels' summer season, the Brussels Yoga Fest, Diversity of India, and — in 2025 — yoga on the esplanade of the European Parliament.

The tenth Diwali edition, on 24 and 25 October 2026, carries the theme Culture United. European embassies and cultural institutes are invited to take part, each pairing their own tradition with an Indian one, along an avenue of lights running the length of the esplanade.
